Knorr-Bremse TruckServices at the FIA European Truck Race on the Nürburgring circuit




It has been a great start to the racing season for Team Jochen Hahn. Last weekend in May, the Iveco race truck with brakes and steering system supplied by Knorr-Bremse recorded two victories at the Misano World Circuit, Italy, and took the lead in the overall rankings.

Knorr-Bremse AG issues additional corporate bond




- Volume: EUR 750 million

- Fixed coupon rate 1.125 percent p. a. over seven-year term

- Revenue will serve to finance growth and improve capital structure

- Listing on Luxembourg Stock Exchange’s EURO MTF market

Knorr-Bremse AG, the leading global manufacturer of braking systems and supplier of additional sub-systems for rail and commercial vehicles, is issuing an additional corporate bond following its 2016 bond issue, this time with a volume of EUR 750 million. The bond has a fixed coupon rate of 1.125 percent p. a. and a seven-year term.

Dortmund again relies on systems expertise from Kiepe Electric




Dortmund public utilities company DSW21 has commissioned the modernization of 64 LRVs and ordered another 24 new vehicles. All electrical systems for both sub-projects are to be supplied by Düsseldorf-based systems specialist Kiepe Electric, a member of the Knorr-Bremse Group.

Európai Uniós támogatással alternatív autóipari alapanyagok kutatásában kezd a Knorr-Bremse a kecskeméti Neumann János Egyetem konzorciuma

A kecskeméti székhelyű Knorr-Bremse Fékrendszerek Kft. és a kecskeméti Neumann János Egyetem konzorciuma 350 millió forint (~ 1,1 millió EUR) keretösszegű vissza nem térítendő támogatást nyert K+F együttműködésük erősítésére, kibővítésére, mely projektben új, alternatív gumi és polimer anyagokat kutatnak autóipari felhasználásra. A projekt keretében és eredményeinek későbbi felhasználásával új, a haszongépjármű légfékrendszerek követelményeinek jobban megfelelő alapanyagok kerülnek kifejlesztésre, hogy azok a Knorr-Bremse termékeiben hasznosulva növeljék a vállalat piaci versenyképességét.
